On 9th of Dec, I entered Thailand, and continue to walk toward Bangkok. When after I entered Thailand I saw many times the Scenery which is a vast devastated land, and reforest area.
“Until 20 years ago, there was a huge rain forest all around of Thailand however for acquisition of foreign currency, people started to deforest. Due to the Deforestation, most of the Forest of the Thailand was disappeared, and the percentage of forest in Thailand country fell off to just 28% of the country.” Local Thailand people taught to me, and added “Slash and Burn at the agricultural area was destroyed the rainforest and forestation area by fire and it accelerated vanishing the forest.”
When I walk on the road, I also saw this scene. However for improvement of the present situation, The Thailand Queen, Government, many people try to do many projects of reforest.
Seeing this 2side of the Thailand situation, I felt that many Thailand people start to be interested in protection the environment, preserve the Nature through Government effort and the education program!
Every place there are lots of seed farms, tree shop, and on TV I saw many sign/Message of “Green the Earth” “Green product”
At SaKaeo City where is 54km far from the border between Thailand and Cambodia, I found very Eco Friendly Hotel! Hotel name is River Resort & Spa. The hotel near by the National road, but when we enter the hotel we could feel the nature like we just be in a forest! Also in the room there is an Ecological message.
On 14th of Dec we could plant 11trees at the hotel!!!!!! With Hotels owner, and hotels staff!!!! That was very very wonderful experience. I really do appreciate the Hotels great action for the earth!!
7days passed after I entered Thailand, toward Bangkok it’s just 118km!!! I will arrive Bangkok before Christmas time!!! I will try my best for spreading the Peace and Environmental Message!!

12월9일부터 태국을 걷고 있습니다. 태국에는 어떤 광경이 펼쳐지고 있냐면 관대한 황지와 많은 곳에서 재조림하고 있는 곳을 볼 수 있습니다.
태국에서는 20몇년전까지 1면 열대우림이 펼쳐지고 있었지만 외화획득을 주목표로 삼림벌채이 나아가고 삼림의 태반이 소실 삼림면적이 국도 28%까지 내려박혔습니다.
또 삼림 소식을 박차를 가하는 듯이 논촌부에서 화전논업이 행해지고 있어 전부가 식수한 나무나 열대우림이 소식한 문제가 일어나고 있답니다.
저도 워크중 많은 곳에서 화전논업이 행해지고 있는 곳을 봤습니다.
그러나 현상을 개선하기 워해 태국왕비 전부 많은 분들이 삼림보호/재생 프로젝트을 나아가고 있습니다.
그 2면성을 말끄러미 보는 워트가 계속되고 있고 또 태국 전부 활동을 통해 교육을 통해 많은 분들이 환경에 대한 관심을 가지고 있는 사살도 느꼈습니다.
태국의 많은 곳에 시 묘목을 키우는 가게뿐만아니라 TV에서 GREEN THE EARTH GREEN PRODUCT든의 메시지를 전하는 프러그람도 보였습니다.
그 중에 SaKaeo라는 곳에 도착했을 때 훌륭한 호텔을 발경했습니다. 호텔 이름이 River Resort Spa 국도옆에 위지한 호텔이지만 호텔안에 들어가면 그 곳은 자연을 느낄 수 있고 마치 슿속에 들어가는 느낌을 든 좋은 곳이였습니다. 호텔 Room에도 환경보호메시지가 있고 사람들께 메시지를 전하고 있었습니다.
그 곡에서 12월14일 11그루의 나무를 호텔 사장님과 호텔 사람들과 함께 심을 수 있었습니다. 많이 도와주신 호텔분들께 진심으로 감사를 드립니다.
태국에 와서 7일 Bangkok까지 118km거리의 곳에까지 왔습니다. 더 6일들어 Bangkok에 도착할겁니다. 마지막까지 죄선을 다하고 걷으면서 나무심으면서 메시지를 전하겠습니다!!!!!
12月9日からタイを歩いています。タイではどんな光景が広がっているかというと
広大な荒地・そして多くの場所でReforest・植樹がされている場所を目にしています。
タイは20数年前までは一面熱帯雨林が広がっていました。しかし外貨獲得を主な目的として森林の伐採が行われ森林の大半が消失、森林面積が国土の２８％までも落ち込んでしまったそうです。
またその森林の消失の拍車をかけるように、農村部で焼畑農業がおこなわれ、政府が植樹した木々や熱帯雨林の焼失の問題となっているようです。
現に私もウォーク中、多くの場所で焼畑農業がおこなわれている場所を目にしました。
しかしその現状を改善すべく現在タイ王国王妃・タイ政府多くの方々が中心となって、森林再生プロジェクトが進められています。
その二面性をまじまじと感じるウォークが続いているわけですが、タイ政府の活動・教育を通じ多くの方々が環境に対して関心を持っている事も実感しました。
至る所に苗木・種ショップをみかけるだけではなく、テレビ等でも、緑化!!やGREEN PRODUCTといったメッセージを目にします。
そんな中、Sa Kaeoに素晴らしいホテルを発見しました。ホテルの名前はRiver Resort Hotel,国道沿いに位置する小さなホテルなのですが、ホテルの環境がまるで森の中にいるかのような自然と共存した環境。Roomにも環境メッセージが置かれ、人々に環境保護メッセージを広めていました。
そんな素晴らしいホテルにて、オーナーさんのご厚意で今日環境保護を広めるため 11本の木を植える事が出来ました！！パチパチパチ！！オーナーさんそしてホテルの方々本当にありがとうございました!!
タイに入って7 日目・バンコク迄残り118KM のところまで歩いてきました。バンコクにはクリスマス前に到着予定です！！残り僅かですが、タイにて沢山の木を植えてメッセージを広めてゆきたいとおもいます！！！
